Didn't you go on Erasmus, but you are looking for an international context in Sassari?

The best way to get in touch with the international world in Sassari is in the ESN!

We are volunteers, and most of us are ex-Erasmus students who, once back in Sassari, decided to recreate the Erasmus atmosphere here in our city too.

Basically, what we do is help foreign students to settle in Sassari, giving them support in the logistic aspects and organizing many activities to give them a unique and unforgettable experience in Sardegna!

Main activities:

  • Help international students upon their arrival, to discover the city and integrate into the UNISS system (through the Pick-up service, Welcome Weeks, Buddy Program, Office, etc.)
  • Organize cultural activities (visits to archaeological sites, Cortes Apertas, etc.)
  • Organize trips (hikes in woods, mountains, kayaking down by the river etc.)
  • Organize sports activities (football tournaments, beach volley and other competitions)
  • Organize parties (International Dinner, Disco Nights, Boat Party at La Maddalena, etc.)

New skills

Volunteering in the ESN is not only an opportunity to have fun in an international context but also to learn many skills that will be extremely helpful in your professional life! To cite some examples:

Project management. Working in the ESN means dealing with projects. It can be a trip, party or cultural event, you’ll have to follow its organisation from the beginning to the end, also managing the economic aspects, the time schedule, contacting other people etc.

Team working. The ESN is a fantastic opportunity to work with other young people, supporting each other with the management of various projects. In the ESN there are many micro-teams working on the different causes. Discover more by clicking here!

Content creation and graphics. Do you like graphic design, taking pictures, and editing videos, or willing to improve your communication skills? We need people who support us on our communication platforms!

Leadership. You can be the president of the association or simply a micro-team coordinator, this skill is fundamental to successfully coordinating all the activities and the people involved.
