Moving inside Sassari

Public transport inside the city are regulated by ATP company. Single ticket costs around 1.30 €, however there are many options of monthly and yearly subscriptions, where students can enjoy exciting discounts. Travelling out of the city

If you want to move throughout the island, you can mainly rely on two services: Trenitalia and ARST services. The first is the Italian railway company and the main connections are:

  •  Sassari-Olbia
  • Sassari-Cagliari   

ARST, instead, is the local bus/train service that connects Sassari with the other towns inside the island.  ARST tickets can be purchased in authorized resellers or through two different applications for smartphones: DropTicket and Tabnet, both available on the Android or Apple stores.
