ErasmuSS Association - ESN Sassari was born in the Autumn of 2005 and it joined the Erasmus Student Network (ESN) in march 2006. Each of its member is a volunteer, mostly former erasmus students. They work everyday in order to help foreign students hosted by the University of Sassari. It is mostly an orientation service, help with the accomodation-seeking, give informations on courses, explain university rules and activities. Later, when students are more comfortable with the new environment, social activities start, which are mostly parties, sports, language tandems, cinema, music nights and cultural trips. The trips are organised not only in the island but to the whole country in order to offer the opportunity to visit Italy in a very funny and cheap way
