Last Sunday, May 4th, we set off for one of the most unique experiences of the semester – a full day discovering the incredible island of Asinara… by bike!

The trip took us through breathtaking coastal paths, surrounded by turquoise waters, untouched nature, and the island’s most iconic residents: the famous Asinara donkeys, who kept us company along the way.

Between the sun, the sea, and the sense of freedom that only a bike ride on a car-free island can give, it was a day to remember for everyone who joined.

Asinara, once a prison island, is now a national park and a symbol of Sardinia’s natural and historical heritage – and exploring it on two wheels made the adventure even more special.

Thank you to all participants for your energy and smiles – and see you on the next trip!
